Hallie Beard holds an MFA from The University of Mississippi and is a Louisville, Kentucky native. Her work appears or is forthcoming in The Offing, Bayou Magazine, CutBank, and elsewhere. You can find her teaching English and selling wedding gowns in Kentucky, or on the other side of the river in Southern Indiana, where she lives with her partner.
As an educator, Hallie has taught more than 600 students in literature and composition and worked with countless individuals one-on-one to achieve their writing goals.
Hallie has experience editing everything from sci-fi novels to aircraft user manuals and dabbles in technical writing, media copywriting, and blog writing.
